The TAKCOM Grunt was designed with first responders in mind. The handle was made larger and wider for a stable and firm grip during operation. Furthermore, the handle is machined with opposing patterns for grip. The blade was kept simple with the highest utility blade styles, drop point and wharncliffe. Last but not least, the seat belt cutter at the end was designed for emergency situations.

I purchased this knife with the drop point blade and couldn’t be happier with the decision. The M390 blade came razor sharp out of the box and even after several days of heavy use the blade is still sharp as hell. The blade mechanism is solid and operates smoothly, the handle fits comfortably in the hand but is still large enough to operate with thick gloves if needed. This is the second premium OTF I have purchased from TAKCOM and it won’t be the last. I highly recommend this knife if you’re looking for a larger OTF that can handle anything you need it to.
