Introducing – The Zipper

The Zipper is one of my favorite design. In a way, all my designs are my favorite. But I really like the zipper. I am especially happy with the way the raised texture came out. I chose to have the texture “raised” by 0.5mm. Quote and unquote raised because the factory had to CNC off the entire layer and just leave the texture. It was hard to find an OEM that was willing to do that and still keep the cost relatively acceptable for me.

Zipper is very snappy. I think the size is just perfect for an OTF Box Cutter. The Zipper is designed to be a workhorse for everyone.

The Zipper is designed with deep pocket carry and reversible carry. So everyone can abuse the heck out of it destroying those Amazon boxes!!

These are really nicely finished knives! Super smooth fast action and they look and feel great. Had to buy one for my dad after getting mine. I wish they offered quantity discounts because these make great gifts! I use mine every day, it fits right in my small jean pocket. Bought a cheap ceramic pull through sharpener and it keeps my blades razor sharp and lasting forever! The sharpener is "Lansky Mini Crock Stick Sharpener". And its CA Legal!!!

I usually don’t do reviews as they are time consuming however, this knife is that good I had to write a review. As soon as I received it in the mail I opened it and started using it to cut up boxes, card stock, plastic packaging, bubble wrap. It’s lightweight, the force required to trigger the auto switch is enough to keep it from deploying in your pocket but also open and close as fast as you can push. I like the raised aluminum on the side only suggestion in regards to it would be to have the opposite diagonal direction to maximize grip when you are pushing down to cut. The pocket clip does not allow it to sit all the way down in the pocket because it is parallel to the knife without space to fit thicker material such as on reinforced pockets and it not raised above the edge of the knife. There is room for improvement but this is a great EDC this knife and I would recommend it.

The most practical impractical knife/tool and I love it! I have always wanted an OTF but they tend to be expensive and not that advantageous. I got it in safety red so it’s easier to spot. It’s not M390 but I can’t stop playing with it.

    This tool is poggers. Good power for such a tiny thing and easy blade swap too. My problem comes from the pictures, looking at the pictures I thought this’ll be a “Benchmade Mini Bugout Orange” which is perfect because bright orange doesn’t scare Karens, but in reality it’s more “Toyota 86 Orange”. Wish the company would have a real life picture of their products instead of just a rendering. That being said, I love it, it’s still 5 stars because of how cheap, compact, powerful the action is.
