The TacKnives Slugger is an oversized OTF that leans toward a classic aesthetic while offering a notably larger, wider profile than traditional OTF knives. Built to the same tight tolerances as other TacKnives OTF knives, the Slugger is a high-precision, high-quality piece. Its larger frame requires a beefier spring, which makes deployment a bit stiffer, but the result is a remarkably forceful, reliable deployment. The handle is machined from T6-6061 hard-oxidized aluminum, and the blade is vacuum-heat-treated D2 steel — premium materials for durability and performance. Awesome knife, feels like a $400-$500 otf. It fires hard and has excellent lock up with very minimal blade play. When these are back in stock I'm definitely picking another one up and maybe a few more for gifts. One of the best knives offered by TK.

  2. This knife is almost perfection. I absolutely love everything about this blade. It’s a beast! One hit is the ergo’s. The body is covered in sharp edges causing hot spots in the hand. Some slight beveling on the edges and this thing would be 10 stars! Still love it and recommend it if you can get your hands on one.
