I received this as part of the Labor Day Sale. I like the tanto blade. It arrived sharp.

Good quality flipper 9cr13 blade steel (Not D2 or 440c though.) Strong firing. I like the Wharncliffe style blade. Makes for a good work knife or gift.

nice spring assisted flipper comparable to kershaw knives as far as quality. good design. good feel. heavy con: so-so 9cr13 knife steel (not 440c, or d2) needed to reprofile edge. was not sharpened perfectly centered.

This is a pretty big knife that's for sure, it feels nice in the hand and is quite comfortable. It flips open smoothly with the thumb stud or the finger flipper. To be honest this knife isn't my cup of tea and I'm not sure I would have actually bought it but as a free gift it's very nice. But just because I don't absolutely love it doesn't mean it's not a very nice knife.

I received an assisted opening blade with a 3CR13 blade and grey metal handle. The deep ride clip is black, so it will not be as noticeable as a silver or branded clip. Razor sharp with almost perfect centering. Absolutely stunning for a free knife!

I got this knife for free and I was impressed when I took it out of the case, any other company would send a $10 piece of s#¥t but not TK, they send quality knives even when it’s free. This knife has a nice weight to it, the blade centering is damn near perfect, flips open really easy and it’s sharp. Thanks TK, you all are #1. I can’t wait until the next special to come up.

Nice flipper knife. I will add this to my EDC rotation. The only problem is the liner lock requires a pretty hard flip/open to engage. I’m sure it will loosen up after a while. Wry well made knife though.

Feels like it has a bit of an assisted open when flipped. Super Smooth open. Slightly harder to close one handed, but I've never owned an assisted opener before. Feels nice in hand with a nice weight. Love the matching color of the handles and blade.

This knife is super well made and functions very well . The spring asist is always an awsome addition to every folder in my opinion. I would recommend tacknife to everyone form knife pros and novist collectors. Being a US army veteran I would recommend this company to all my brothers and sisters in arms . Thank you

Heavy and solidly made. The blade is sharp out of the box but again, I used my diamond hone for a great edge.

I got this with a promotion they had running because their website wouldn’t allow customers to checkout. TacKnives was so kind to give 25% off and get a free random folding knife. I got this beautiful assisted flipper. There are a couple tiny dings on the blade but nothing a little sharpening can’t fix. The action is wonderful and there is no blade play. The scales are solid and the knife has a nice weight to it. I highly recommend rolling the dice on a randomly selected flipper.

I didn't even know that they made these and was very very impressed. The blade is fantastic and love the grip. I've paid much more for much more and not gotten this knife quality before.

I received the BF19 folding knife. This is a pretty standard edc folder. Brown G10 scales on the handle, D2 steel blade that’s got kind of a semi-polished, semi-raw look. The flipper on the backside of the handle makes it nice and easy to open with one hand. The blade came decently sharp out of the box. Nice stainless steel pocket clip. The only reason I’m giving this 4 out of 5 stars is because there is a good 1/4” amount of play in the blade, which exposes the blade tip while the knife is technically still in a “closed” position, and this could potentially be a problem, especially with the pocket carry being a “blade up” style. For a $35 folder, I don’t have many complaints. I’ve had and seen much worse in this price range, that’s for sure.

One of the nicest folding knives I've ever owned, very light but sturdy, super sharp d2 blade, overall very impressed.

I do not see the "mystery folder" on the web site. It IS very nice. Well balanced, easily opened with a finger flick, and very sharp. It has a black, textured sides, gloss blue pocket clip and hardware screws, and blue accent through the blade (to open). This is a medium size knife with the engraved "TK" logo and a "D2" on the reverse side of the blade. (Perhaps a @DLD After dark edition?) The blade locks up solid when fully open and had a tension lock feature that works well.

Great folding knife. I have too many folding knives to count and this one is among the best. Not only is it a great knife, but it is also at a great price. You can't go wrong with this knife.

Smooth action, lightweight, durable, and solid; just like every other blade I've ever gotten from TakKnives.

I received this knife as a promotional gift with another purchase, and to be honest I expected it to be something lackluster that I was going to end up giving away as a secret Santa gift or perhaps throw in the toolbox as a throwaway piece to use in situations where I'm afraid of hurting my nicer blades. No way! This is one study knife, with a great edge, and I'd expect it to be way more than $35. It's not perfect, the lock mechanism has room for improvement. I wish it extended out of the housing just a little bit more to make unlocking the blade easier. It's a minor criticism that doesn't really turn me off to this knife. I'm either keeping this, or gifting it to someone I really, really like.

A real nice surprise. It was not expected or required but cool to get anyway. It is a M-tech style knife with nice handle graffics.
Love it
