Introducing – The Zipper
The Zipper is one of my favorite design. In a way, all my designs are my favorite. But I really like the zipper. I am especially happy with the way the raised texture came out. I chose to have the texture “raised” by 0.5mm. Quote and unquote raised because the factory had to CNC off the entire layer and just leave the texture. It was hard to find an OEM that was willing to do that and still keep the cost relatively acceptable for me.
Zipper is very snappy. I think the size is just perfect for an OTF Box Cutter. The Zipper is designed to be a workhorse for everyone.
The Zipper is designed with deep pocket carry and reversible carry. So everyone can abuse the heck out of it destroying those Amazon boxes!!
A solid little unit. Fast delivery. I like it a lot. Worth every penny. I like the quick change Blade system.
These are really nicely finished knives! Super smooth fast action and they look and feel great. Had to buy one for my dad after getting mine. I wish they offered quantity discounts because these make great gifts!
I use mine every day, it fits right in my small jean pocket.
Bought a cheap ceramic pull through sharpener and it keeps my blades razor sharp and lasting forever!

Lets just say up front, I am incredibly particular about my purchases and making sure the money is there in the product. And this thing does not disappoint. I watched pretty much every review and teardown video on youtube trying to find a reason to not buy it like I do with most products, and I am glad I pulled the trigger. In fact, I bought two of them and gave one to my father as a Christmas gift with the confidence from my research paired with my previous purchase of “The Stubby: Bayonette” a few months prior and I was not let down at all. This makes two TacKnives models I have had my hands on and each one has been an incredible purchase.
My co-worker saw mine and instantly wanted to have it.
The milling and fit and finish on this product is just top notch and has that wow factor when you actually see it and feel it in your hands.
Very similar in design and materials as another manufacturer’s knife. Lockup is solid and the blades don’t pull out when cutting heavy corrugated. Price point is very reasonable.
Great OTF Utility. Action is top notch. The machined texture is superior to every other one that I’ve handled. Originally, I bought two and gifted one. Then on this order, I bought two more to gift, but let’s be honest…..i might have to keep this orange one…..it’s sweet!
