TAKCOM‘s Hornet was inspired by the flying insect: fast, adaptable, and lethal. The Hornet is a medium-sized knife with a handle that is 4.25” long and a blade that is 2.75” long. It is equipped with a lanyard hole, a carbon fiber insert, and a handle face switch. When the switch is on the face of the handle, the spring can be made stronger while keeping the pressure needed to apply the switching the same. Furthermore, the handle face switch allows left-handed operators to use the spear point-style knife without having to switch over the pocket clip.
** Please note that the Wharncliffe-style blade cannot be operable for left-handed users. The clip is not reversible.

As a matter of fact I had to go to the post office this morning to pick up my Work Sharp knife sharpener. USPS is always a pain in my bottom side if package doesn’t fit in the mail box. I couldn’t be happier. I was doubting that they where as good as microtech but they are. I gushed for 5 minutes to my parents how awesome this knife is. I bought this hornet and stinger on Jan 15 I received them on Jan 20 so they where fast and I am over the moon. Do not waste the extra 150 on a microtech it just isn’t worth the extra money this knife has almost no blade play its amazing how good it is. The steel is great the outside is great the o ly thing I might change is putting a glass breaker on the end of the hornet I shed of a lanyard hole which I do like I just think the stinger should have the lanyard hole and the hornet have a glass breaker as of now the stinger mini otf has a glass breaker and the hornet medium otf has a lanyard hole. But that isn’t a negative it’s just a personal preference I still thing the knife is amazing I am just so happy.
