The blade shoots out at the switch of a bottom and will retract in the same manner.
STXL is CNC with T6-6061 aluminum. It is equipped with a D2 satin finished dagger style blade.

It has a sturdy lock up and ejection but the blade feels a little wobbly when extended. I don’t have experience with switchblades so maybe they’re supposed to be like that, but I thought it would be stiff with no play.
Also, only side of the blade is sharp, but both sides look really similar, so I have to examine the blade closely before I cut something. I thought the blade type I selected would mean both sides were sharp. I was wrong.
Good action. Minimal blade play.
