Introducing the Fatboy Skully. Fatboy Skully is an OTF Knife box cutter that uses replaceable SK5 blades. The user can easily change the SK5 box cutter blades whenever it gets dull or dirty. Why use an automatic box cutter? It is extremely useful! It allows you to operate the knife with just one hand while freeing the other hand to do whatever it needs.
OTF knives have never been a good tool for cutting boxes and slicing through tape. The tape gunk will attach to a traditional OTF knife blade and mess up the automatic knife deployment very quickly. However, the Fatboy Box Cutter series has the cutting blade far away from the tracks of the handle. A lot of the tape junk will either stay on the replaceable blade or stay on the mechanism that holds the blade.
Please note the Fatboy Skully has a distressed finish on the handle. So the handle is not scratched. It is an intended look.

I’ve purchased four of these so far.. Excellent in every aspect and affordable enough to gift!
Would recommend this product
The product quality is consistently outstanding, exceeding my expectations
Simply put, these are fantastic!! The stonewashed finish looks great, lending to a well loved look. The action is super snappy, deploying and retracting with authority. The actuating thumb slide has a medium/slightly heavy tension level, which is perfect in my opinion, no chance of accidentally deploying in pocket. The pocket clip is pretty stiff, but honestly with the size of this little guy I’ll most likely use it as a money/card clip or just remove it altogether as this will be a pocket dropper for me. Great job to Tacknives, you guys hit this one outta the park!!
So far so good. If you are older this takes an ability to grasp and if you have arthritis you might have trouble. It takes a good amount of pressure to activate, which is a good thing, you don’t want this to fire off in your pocket. I also found out the hard way… be careful if you oil this device, put a very small amount or it will cause it to misfire. If you do that try some alchohol to reverse that problem.
Love it the action is great
