These pieces are made with a lot of care given the price points. Like 90% of OTF pieces, there is some blade play, but I’ve had OTFs that were close to three times the price with just as much. The heat treat on the blades is very good. In honesty I think using Non-Premium steel like 154CM is a great idea. It’s very good steel, easy to sharpen, and allows a lower price point than current “Super Steels” like Magnicut, Bohler M390, Vanax, etc. For a small company trying to make its way in the cutlery industry. They are doing great!
