From the first moment the blade ejects from the handle with a silky velvet like smoothness you immediately know that you’ve just encountered a different kind of level of OTF knife. TacKnives is bringing back that level of quality artisanal craftsmanship that your grandpappy always told you that they just don’t build them like they used to !!! This is the kind of quality knife that you know would survive two world wars and three divorces and have Grandpa proudly proclaiming she can take the house but she ain’t getting my DropPoint OTF !!!

I am mostly impressed with this knife, it has strong springs, sharp blade, and heavy feel. The body is coated in an almost rubbery grippy material that feels great in your hand. It came in a very nice soft case as well as a belt holster for it. the case has plenty of room and pockets for more knifes too. The only reason I didnt give it 5 starts is that the blade has sharp edges all over it (specifically along the spine), I would like to see the sharp corners of the blade rounded a little so its more comfortable if you ever need to hold the blade. For the price that this knife comes at I am very happy with the product and will probably buy from this company in the future.

It’s a beast! The handle is very grippy almost like new tire rubber. Although I have little use for a glass breaker I can see using it as a blunt instrument if striking on the back swing or as a hammer fist. *Im talking about when cleaning fish;). The blade is pretty much what you see in the pics, intimidating, however, I did have to sharpen it more to make it shave arm hair. I use the Spyderco knife sharpening kit for most of my new knife purchases. It’s a good sharpening system. The action is strong and fast. It locks into place with “attitude.” The pics say it all.

  2. Fantastic knife! Solid, well made, razor-sharp blade! Excellent craftsmanship in every detail!

  3. Great knife at a reasonable price !!!
Had a part break after a year of daily carrying . Tacknife was extremely accommodating and helpful. 10 out of 10 !!! I highly recommend shopping with them

  4. Great knife

  5. The grip is fantastic! Everything moves smooth and the blade is very sharp out of the box. Careful opening in front of some people, big and scary are the most common reactions I get. Part of my camping/hiking setup now. Heavy enough to be a palm stick.
