Description

TacKnives MTU11B OTF is a LARGE fully automatic double action OTF (Out The Front) knife that is part of our Distinctive Collection. It comes standard with CNC aviation grade Zinc Alloy handles. The 100% CNC Construction of the handle makes for a precise fit of the handle and the blade. The 100% CNC Construction is not only for the exterior, it is also the interior and the operating components as well. The CNC aviation grade Zinc Alloy is extremely strong, lightweight and durable.

All TacKnives knives are designed with EDC (Everyday Carry) in mind. Therefore, ergonomics are everything. The MTU11B handle is perfectly balanced, so it feels natural in the hand of the operator. The handle on both sides are further CNC out and layered with Carbon Fiber to reduce weight and add grip.

The blade of the MTU11B is a straight double edge style blade. The material of the blade is the highest grade D2.

Inside the MTU11B OTF knife, you will find our new dual spring technology where it gives the MTU11B its consistent firing and super rapid deployment. The trigger is designed to be on the side of the knife where your thumb naturally rest for quick deployment. The trigger action is both crisp and smooth.

Since every TacKnives knives are designed with EDC in mind, you will find almost all TacKnives knives are equipped with a ballistic glass breaker and a stainless steel pocket clip. Both features are extremely essential in an EDC knife. In the case of an emergency, an operator has quick access to his or her knife through accessing it from his or her pocket and rapid deployment of the blade. The glass breaker can easily break a common window.

All TacKnives OTF knives are extremely safe to operate and use. TacKnives OTF knives come with a built-in safety that will not allow the blade to fully deploy if anything is obstructing its path. Once in “safety mode” the blade will need to be reset by pulling the blade all the way into its locking position making it fully functional again.

I received my knife, an MTU 11B, quicker than I expected. This was my second knife of the same type, but this was a “scratch and dent” item. Upon receipt, I inspected the knife and could discern no damage of any sort.
Like the “regular “ model I bought, it was impressive for its tight fit, and that they both fired and retraced with authority.
I’m already looking over TacKnives’ inventory for my next purchase.

This is a scratch and dent deal. The only scratch I could find is bye the pocket clip.
It is 1/2 inch by 1/2 smudge on the carbon fiber the pocket clip covers up about 80% of it.The knife functions perfectly and was a great deal. This is the second knife I have purchased from them. I am extremely pleased with both purchases.

Cool knife! For the price can’t be beat. For those who are lefties. You will need a Dremel to grind out the pocket clip a bit. This was a scratch and dent. Couldn’t find any.

VERY impressed with these knives. The action is quick, the overall quality seems great and the blade seems to lock secure enough for any possible scenario I’ll need to use it for.
While these were “scratch and dent,” they look just fine. There MAY be some slightly noticeable scuffing near the belt clip, but it’s honestly hard to tell if that’s actually what it is in the carbon fiber, and it would definitely happen anyway just carrying the knife around.
These are just flat out very cool knives, I’m already going to be buying more soon as gifts for friends and family. Thanks for such an awesome, solid product, TacKnives!

The same quality and craftsmanship with all the knifes form TacKnives I have bought, better than some other knifes that I paid much more money for.
    Keep up the Great job!
