The TacKnives MT6TS OTF is a large fully automatic double action OTF (Out The Front) knife that comes standard with CNC aviation Zinc Alloy handles. The 100% CNC Construction of the handle makes for a precise fit of the handle and the blade. The 100% CNC Construction is not only for the exterior, it is also the interior and the operating components as well. The CNC aviation Zinc Alloy is extremely strong, lightweight and durable.
All TacKnives knives are designed with EDC (Everyday Carry) in mind. Therefore, ergonomics are everything. The MT6TS handle shape is well balanced and feels natural in the hand of the operator. Throughout the body of the handle, deep horizontal grooves are added for textured grip to keep the knife firmly in the hand of the operator during any operations.
The blade of the MT6TS is a straight Tanto Serrated style. This style was popularized and countlessly tested by the military community. The Tanto Serrated style is versatile to handle all kinds of cutting requirements.
Inside the MT6TS OTF knife, you will find our new dual spring technology where it gives the MT6TS its consistent firing and super rapid deployment. The trigger is designed to be at the most ergonomic position for your thumb. The trigger action is both crisp and smooth.
Since every TacKnives knives are designed with EDC in mind, you will find almost all TacKnives knives are equipped with a ballistic glass breaker and a stainless steel pocket clip. Both features are extremely essential in an EDC knife. In the case of an emergency, an operator has quick access to his or her knife through accessing it from his or her pocket and rapid deployment of the blade. The glass breaker can easily break a common window with no problems at all.
All TacKnives OTF knives are extremely safe to operate and use. TacKnives OTF knives come with a built-in safety that will not allow the blade to fully deploy if anything is obstructing its path. Once in “safety mode” the blade will need to be reset by pulling the blade all the way into its locking position making it fully functional again.
