TacKnives MD3T OTF is a MEDIUM fully automatic double action OTF (Out The Front) knife that comes standard with CNC aviation Zinc Alloy handles. The 100% CNC Construction of the handle makes for a precise fit of the handle and the blade. The 100% CNC Construction is not only for the exterior, it is also for the interior and the operating components as well. The CNC aviation Zinc Alloy is extremely strong, lightweight and durable.
All TacKnives knives are designed with EDC (Everyday Carry) in mind. Therefore, ergonomics is everything. The MD3T handle shape is well balanced and feels natural in the hand of the operator. The handle is coated with Anti-Slip industrial silicon for the ultimate grip to keep the knife firmly in the hand of the operator during any operations. Additionally, both sides of the handle are CNC machined hollowed out and replaced with carbon fibre to reduce the weight of the knife.
The blade of the MS3T is a straight Tanto Blade. This style was popularized and countlessly tested by the military community. The Tanto Serrated style is versatile to handle all kinds of cutting requirements.
Inside the MD3T OTF knife, you will find our new dual spring technology which it gives the MD3T its consistent firing and super rapid deployment. The trigger is designed to be on the main face of the knife where your thumb naturally rests for quick deployment. The trigger action is both crisp and smooth.
Since every TacKnives knife is designed with EDC in mind, you will find almost all TacKnives knives are equipped with a ballistic glass breaker and a stainless steel pocket clip. Both features are extremely essential in an EDC knife. In the case of an emergency, an operator has quick access to his or her knife by accessing it from his or her pocket and rapid deployment of the blade. The glass breaker can easily break a common window.
All TacKnives OTF knives are extremely safe to operate and use. TacKnives OTF knives come with a built-in safety that will not allow the blade to fully deploy if anything is obstructing its path. Once in “safety mode” the blade will need to be reset by pulling the blade all the way into its locking position making it fully functional again.

This is one well made knife. It has a little weight to it, but it’s built solid as a tank. The switch has enough resistance for safety, this knife is safe in your pocket, but it still opens easily and instantly. This knife has it’s own character. The D2 blade is amazing. An excellent every day carry.
This is an excellent knife for the price. This one has more blade wobble than my TacKnife Pro, which was a little disappointing, but it has D2 steel and feels great in the hand.
