*** I know this is a new launch. But it turned out the factory didn’t do a good job on the anodizing. Almost all the knives have slight paint blemishes. This is really disappointing, but if you can overlook the blemishes, it is a really, really awesome knife.

WOW! What as absolutely amazing knife! I picked this up after seeing the sale price for the blemished shipment. After handling this knife I would have gladly paid full price for what I got. It’s perfect. First off, the blade is a beautiful and razor sharp sheep’s foot. I love the stone wash finish. The handle scales are super smooth and I didn’t find one single “blemish” on the one I got. The action is perfect!! The blade launched out with a ton of force and lock up is superb, no blade play what so ever. Perfect blade centering and the secondary lock is very solid. 10/10 guys, great knife! Would love to pick up the blacked out version. Thanks for a great product.

Fantastic knife! Amazing build quality and action! And being from a blemished batch I can't find a single flaw which I wouldn't have been bothered by either way for the price! I've been happy with all of my purchases from tacknives and I've used and abused a couple of knives and they still work and function flawlessly! This is my first "switchblade" and it is smooth and fast and built better than some more expensive knives i own!

I am telling you, for the money I paid for this knife, it is top notch. Powerful opening, sharp out of the box,a great reversible pocket clip. I should’ve bought 10 more. If you’re thinking about ordering one, do it. It is bad ass.

This auto is easily worth 10x the price. It fires as hard as a protech, locks up very solid, and blade centering is perfect. I was not even able to tell what the blemishes are which I think speaks highly of the brand if they saw cosmetic issues that small and decided to let these go at a fraction of the intended production run price. I have a hard time even picking a con but if I was forced to I would only say the edge wasn't the sharpest but we are only talking just barely snagging when slicing paper. After a quick strop it was popping hair no problem. Honestly knowing what I know now I would still buy this knife at any price point under $150. When this knife re-releases give yourself a treat and pick one up, you will not be disappointed.

  1. Bought this at a discount because it was marked as cosmetically blemished. Personally I don’t see any problems with it. In my opinion, it’s a knife: it’s going to get carried and used and dinged up. This is knife arrived razor sharp. I’m not sure what the handle is made of, but it is much lighter than I had anticipated (this is a good thing), but still feels quite sturdy.

This is a side-opening automatic. The blade opens with swiftly and smoothly. To my surprise, the mechanism has a safety switch that locks the blade closed; this is another nice touch.

This is the first TacKnives-branded knife I purchased. I previously bought a number of Takcom (formerly TacKnives Pro, and now again TacKnives Pro) knives and I was curiously to see how they compared to this one. The workmanship is for both brands is comparable. The blades seems to be of similar quality. The main difference seems to be in the styling. The handle is very different from the aluminum housing used for the Takcom knives.

I believe this item is sold out already, but I would definitely not be afraid to buy future TacKnives items.

  2. Very nice knife . Not too heavy, smooth operation and I love the blade shape. I did have a small issue with my knife, but customer service was very quick to make it right . I will definitely be back for more .

  3. Would recommend this product

The product quality is consistently outstanding, exceeding my expectations

  4. OMG! I ordered the “blemished” version. WHAT BLEMISH???
The quality of this knife is just RIDICULOUSLY AWESOME, especially for the $35 whole dollars I paid.
Great looking stonewashed blade, sharp out of the box, nice aluminum scales, SNAPPY OTS deployment, JUST a WELL made little knife for EDC. You folks ROCKED IT! As long as the idiot tariff taxes don’t screw things up, I’m going to be A REGULAR CUSTOMER! Thank you…

  5. Even at full retail this would be a great value for the money. For half off, it feels like I’m stealing it! I looked my Goliath over carefully and there was not a “blem” in sight. Fit and finish is good overall. Comfortable ergos with no hotspots. If I were to nitpick, the inner part of the scales is a bit sharp, but you don’t feel it against your palm in hand. Clip is good. Action is snappy. The factory edge is sharp… slicey and just a bit toothy. This is a solid EDC daily driver!
