TacKnives MTU14 OTF series offers various blade styles in D2 and handles in various colors. The body of the knife is CNC from T6 aircraft grade aluminum. In addition, the handle has a linear circle pattern design to enhance grip.

The knife is built solid, at first it was very stiff and the jibbing was making my thumb sore but it seemed to get better and easier to deploy when using it a lot. The knife didn’t come very sharp though.

So far so awesome! Out of the box I am super pleased! Fit, finish and function are wayyy above what I expected! I have an Ultratech and like it quite a bit but I wanted something configured the same way that I could use at work and not have a seizure if it was broken or lost. I won't form a final opinion until Ive used it on the job and sharpened it a couple of times. At this time, based only on initial handling...TacKnives has DELIVERED!!! Oh and there is a tiny bit LESS blade play in the TacKnife than in my Ultratech!

I now have the red and green one, these are some really nice OTFs, great action both directions, no blade play, sharp enough to shave with, it’s really easy to hold onto. Knife was light perfect to carry everyday good size the only complaint was it had blade play when deployed. But for the price was a great buy. 👍
