This knife is pretty well made. The latch holds well and the blade if fairly sharp but I put mine on the diamond hone and refined the edge so it is shaving sharp.

i think this is a super butterfly knife at this price point. i'm very happy with this knife and can't put it down and leave it alone. you want a knife to fidget with, this is the one. i'm learning tricks with it but during moments where i lose control, this knife has hit the walls, ceiling and floor many times. it always comes out looking like new. i've been banished to one room for flipping for now. the knife is a nice size and weight to practice with. the action is really smooth without any dead spots to retard the tricks you're trying to learn. it's also an attractive knife. it looks like stainless liners and bolsters and pins. i got the one with what i call white "pearl-oid" and it looks cool on this knife. with all the knocks this knife has received while i "train" (sounds better than "learn"), it's no worse for wear. it still looks good and moves freely. built like a tank it is. this is a good butterfly style knife for a novice to learn on. i'm having a great time working with it, it's so much fun. i'd recommend this knife to anyone wanting this style of knife. even the experienced user. and it comes with a nice zippered case/pouch to store your knife.
