TacKnives MTU5 series is of the same design as MTU1. MTU5 series is a large OTF knife with the switch ergonomically designed to be on the face of the handle. This allows the natural placement of the thumb for better switch actuation. Furthermore, MTU5 has an integrated window breaker that doesn’t come off and a G10 insert to lessen the weight of the handle. The MTU5 series comes with various blade styles and blade materials. This particular MTU5DP has a drop point style blade that is laser etched to have the Damascus pattern.

After buying my first knife. I bought another one but different style. I like this one even more. I the blade caught my eye. And after receiving it , it’s magnificent.
Solid, sharp, fits nicely in the hand, big enough to handle any job. The canvase case was a classy touch. I can attach it to Mike vest if I want, but due to its weight (1/2) lb I’m going to leave it inside its case in the center console of my car.
