Fantastic knives! I’ve purchase a number of them-both through Amazon and off the TacKnives website. They always get delivered earlier than expected. The blades are sharp and very nicely polished. Actions are positive-always lock up, no “spring sing”. Feels very solid in the hand. Would not hesitate to purchase again. I have referred them to friends-and I don’t usually do that. Great knives!

Just received my MTU1 and it is so much more than I was expecting. I’d been searching for an OTF auto and the prices are always exorbitant. I finally found Tacknives and decided I’d pull the trigger on it. I’m sure happy I did. Sturdy, beautiful, functional, and oh so solid. Smooth action. I can keep going but there’s too much to say. 5 stars, will be back! Thank you for the coupon as well. If your on the fence on this type of blade just pull the trigger and get one. THE BARRACUDA KNIFE SEEMS INDESTRUCTIBLE! This knife is really light in the hand considering the durable material it is made of. The fit and finish are superb, and the action is solid. The UPS Package containing this knife was ran over by a truck and the case and knife are still intact (see pic). This is a great knife at this price point. You would be hard pressed to find one better than this.

I liked it so much, I gave it to my daughter, and I had to order another one! Included is a photo with two knives that I just purchased for comparison. Well they have pretty much the same size blades as you can see the handle is significantly different. I’m going to use this knife as my gentleman’s knife and where it obviously, for dressier occasions. So far this is 5 knives I bought from TK so far.

Our knives go head to head with some similar quality OTFs that are priced 3-4x higher. How we do this is that; everyone on our team goes through a vigorous 1-month training program, before they are allowed to be part of the manufacturing or design process. All new and experience hires, before doing any kind of work are crystal clear on the compete process of quality design and manufacturing. We work as a team to overall reduce any kind of wastage, design or quality issues. There are two types of OTF (“Out the Front”) automatic knives: 1) Single Action (SA-OTF) and 2) Double Action (DA-OTF). Single-action OTF knives employ automatically but must be manually raised or recanted to close. Double-action OTF knives deploy and retract with a multifunction button and spring design.
